Types of Control Cable

The control cable produced by our company mainly include the following types:

Flexible Shielded Cable
It offers excellent flexibility, electromagnetic interference resistance, and stable signal transmission. Rated for voltages up to 450/750V, it is suitable for control, signal, and measurement system connections.

Fire Rated Control Cable
The cable uses fire-resistant mica tape and high-quality insulating materials to ensure reliable operation even under extreme fire environments. It maintains circuit continuity for a specified duration, protecting life and property safety in critical facilities.

High-Temperature Shielded Cable
It features heat-resistant insulation materials such as silicone rubber, fluoroplastics (FEP/PFA), combined with shielding layers for effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Advantages of Control Cable

01/

These Are Reasonable In Price
You do not have to spend a lot when you are buying cables which meet the quality standards. These kinds of cables offer a great amount of value for the price that we pay. You can find the cheap and best of these cables online. It is fine if you have a limited budget for buying things like this.

02/

You Can Easily Work With These
These cables are much easy to work with. Some cables can be an exercise and you can deal with frustration but with these cables the things are different. If you want to avoid difficultly, you should surely invest your money into these cables. You can handle all your projects much easier with these cables.

03/

These Are Durable
These cables are durable and long-lasting. Working with these is easy but you need to be careful as well. Some cables are available in the market which certainly fall apart after some time but these cables are much stronger. Thus, you should not waste your money on any other cables than these.

04/

They Are Versatile
Some cables that are available in the market have specific jobs and cannot be used for anything else than that. There are other cables as well which can be used for several purposes. These cables fall under this category. People get surprised when they see that these cables can do so much than any other cable available in the market.

Applications of Control Cable

Industrial Automation
In factories, control cables form the nervous system of robots, assembly lines, and monitoring systems. They transmit control signals, sensor data, and communication protocols, ensuring smooth operation and precise control.

Building Management Systems
Modern buildings are intricate ecosystems. Control cables connect thermostats, fire alarms, security systems, and lighting controls, creating a network that regulates temperature, safety, and comfort.

Medical Equipment
From patient monitoring systems to delicate surgical instruments, control cables ensure the accurate transmission of vital data and commands in medical settings.

Consumer Electronics
Even your home entertainment system relies on control cables. They connect components like TVs, soundbars, and gaming consoles, transmitting audio and video signals to create a seamless entertainment experience.

The Rise of Smart Homes
With the growing popularity of smart home technology, control cables play a crucial role in connecting smart thermostats, lighting systems, and appliances, allowing for centralized control and automation.

PVC Insulated Control Cable

Control Cables Made of Different Materials

Steel
Steel is a widely used material in automotive control cables due to its strength and durability. It provides the tensile strength needed to handle the mechanical loads during vehicle operation. Steel wire strands are twisted together to form the core of the cable.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
PVC is frequently used as the outer casing or sheath of automotive control cables. It insulates the inner wires, shielding them from environmental factors such as moisture, dirt, and oil. PVC is durable and resistant to chemicals, making it ideal for automotive applications.

Nylon
Nylon is another important material used in automotive control cables. Its low-friction properties help reduce wear on the inner wire strands. It also provides flexibility and durability, especially in high-stress applications.

Teflon
Teflon, or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), is used in some high-performance automotive control cables. It is particularly valuable for applications that require smooth, responsive control, such as throttle or brake systems in performance vehicles.

Copper

Copper is used in automotive control cables that need to carry electrical signals. It is highly conductive, making it essential for systems like electronic throttle controls or power-assisted brakes.

Aluminum

Although steel is the most common material for automotive control cables, aluminum is sometimes used to reduce weight. Aluminum is lighter than steel, which can improve fuel efficiency and performance, especially in electric or high-performance vehicles.

Rubber

Rubber is often used as an additional layer around automotive control cables. It helps seal the cables, protecting them from moisture and debris. Additionally, rubber absorbs shocks and vibrations, preventing damage to the cables.

FAQ

Q: Can we get some samples? Any charges?

A: Yes, samples are available for testing. Standard samples are free of charge, while freight costs are borne by the buyer.Customers may also send samples for us to use as a reference for production.

Q: What is your delivery time?

A: It usually takes about a week for 100 meters. For bulk orders, please contact the manufacturer.

Q: Which countries do you export to?

A: Our products are exported to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Q: What is the difference between signal cable and control cable?

A: Signal cables are more used to transmit data signals, and signal cables are shielded to prevent interference from external signals. The control cable is mainly used to transmit electrical signals. Generally, there is no shielding.

Q: Can you use a control cable for power?

A: Control cables are not suitable for high-power electrical transmission. They can transmit small currents, but using them for motors or industrial power distribution may cause your equipment to overheat or become damaged.

Q: Can you run control wire with power wire?

A: Manufacturers may state that control wiring can be run along the line voltage wire, but my personal recommendation is not to risk it and to provide a buffer of some kind by shielding, separating the cable runs, or both.

As one of the most professional control cable manufacturers and suppliers in China, we're featured by quality products and good price. Please feel free to buy discount control cable for sale here and get pricelist from our factory. We also accept customized orders.
