The XLPE Insulated Aluminum Cable, also known in China as YJLHV cable, which refers to an aluminum conductor, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed power cable,is designed for use in power transmission and distribution systems.


This cable combines the advantages of an aluminum alloy conductor, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer sheath. It is widely used in both low- and medium-voltage electrical systems and is suitable for various environments, providing reliable performance and safety.

Cable Structure

 

1. Conductor: Aluminum Alloy Core

The conductor is made of aluminum alloy (typically AA-6201), offering better tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity compared to pure aluminum conductors. It is lightweight yet robust, making it ideal for long-distance power transmission.

2. Insulation: Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
